Cervical Cancer Screening Recommendations: Now and for the Future

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common worldwide, with over 600,000 new cases annually and approximately 350,000 cancer-related deaths per year. The disease burden disproportionately distributed, mortality ranging from 5.2 100,000 individuals in highly-developed countries, to 12.4 less-developed countries. This article a review of current screening recommendations potential future recommendations.
